Spring means a lot of things to different people: birds singing, flowers blooming, people putting away their skis and breaking out their hiking boots, etc. Spring also means the local farmer’s markets are opening their doors.
Peterborough is blessed to have two farmer’s markets (one on Mondays and one on Wednesdays). The Monday “Fresh Chicks” market opens May 7th. That’s just two days away and it will be open every Monday until October! The Wednesday Depot Square Market opens May 16th.
Fresh Chicks has farms selling fruits and vegetables, crafters, bread makers, bakers (like us), and more. We are excited to be participating again in both markets this year selling our now world-famous granola, best-ever granola bars, and other delicious breakfast treats that we serve at the B&B. Come on out and see us, we hope to see everyone there!
BTW, if farmer’s markets in general are your thing, there are many around the Monadnock Region from the Keene market that happens twice a week, one in Jaffrey, Hancock, Rindge, Hillsborough, and Fitzwilliam on different days of the week.
