There are Adirondack chairs set on the riverbank so you can sit and enjoy the view. We stayed in the Treetop room on the third floor, and we could see the river and hear the gentle sound of the river from our room! Our room was surprisingly big, and very clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delivered to us every day at 9 AM, and it was delicious! I was expecting something simple like a selection of muffins, but we were served hot items like baked French toast or a spinach frittata. The one drawback was the covid precautions that the hosts took. We were unable to eat breakfast in the dining room and needed to eat in our room, which took away from the sociability of meeting other guests. However, there was a table in our room, so it was comfortable to eat there. All in all, it was a great place to stay, and we will stay there again if we have reason to visit Peterborough again!
