There’s a new event coming to the Monadnock Region… the first-ever Dublin Market & Bazaar! The event will be held at Cricket Hill Farm on Route 101 in Dublin on Saturday, June 10 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and on Sunday, June 11 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Admission to the event is free; on-site parking is $3 per car. The event, hosted by Maria Amarosa and Jonathan Driscoll, owners Vintage Label Co. will feature over 150 juried vendors offering antiques, vintage items, salvaged and repurposed treasures and crafts. Other attractions at the Market & Bazaar will include food trucks, vintage camper and car & truck displays, as well as family-friendly and live animal exhibits. Early bird customers who line up between 8 and 8:30 AM Saturday, June 10 and between 8:30 and 9 AM Sunday, June 11 will be entered to win $100 in “bazaar bucks” to be used however they choose during the event.
Amarosa and Driscoll started the Vintage Label Co. Traveling Vintage Boutique last August. The mobile traveling boutique, housed in their truck named “Joey” travels all over New England featuring items that match Amarosa’s taste… lots of bright colors from the 50s, 60s and 70s, as well as Americana-style. To add to the excitement, they recently learned that the traveling boutique as well as the event in June, will be featured on NH Chronicle (air date TBA).
Cricket Hill Farm (known to many as the location of the Gas Engine Show held each September) is located off Route 101 in Dublin and is just 3 miles from Little River Bed & Breakfast. The entrance is across from Old Peterborough Road, about 1/2 mile east of the intersection with Route 137 – look for event signage.
We’ve still got rooms available for Saturday night, so if you are thinking about coming, why not make a weekend of it! The Thing In The Spring music festival and Broke: The Affordable Arts Fair are also taking place in Peterborough over the same weekend, so there will be more great events to enjoy! Contact Paula or Rob and the Little River B&B to book your stay.
